1. A Super Focused Productivity Planner

One of the home office must-haves everyone should have is a planner.

This is my favorite productivity planner that I used for my college days and my first job after college. I was a very disorganized person and procrastinated too much. If that sounds like you, this might help you stay on task. It’s compact and easy to carry around. I love that it only has up to a few tasks to focus on daily and you measure how much time it took for you to complete it.

You get to review your productivity every day and give a rating while also writing what you can do better next time. This was the most effective planner for me to have laser focus! I often load myself up with too many tasks and start to feel overwhelmed. Minimalism is on-trend.

2. A Fun Glow Up Typewriter Keyboard

I bought this glow-up keyboard when I was working on the development of The Glow Up Queen and didn’t realize that it matches the theme of my blog. LOL! It gives so much more personality to my desk and now I love working on my computer more because of it. You can change the brightness level and it feels modern and vintage at the same time. If you are a writer like me, a typewriter keyboard is fun to have.

3. An Essential Oil Diffuser

One of the best things I’ve bought in the past year was an essential oil diffuser! I don’t even need to burn candles now. It’s way cheaper than buying a bunch of candles and a set of essential oils lasts longer than candles. You can also buy an affordable set and mix and match the different scents. For example, peppermint, sweet orange, and lavender help to relieve stress and improve your mood.

I also love how this essential oil diffuser lights up in different colors and small enough to fit on my desk.

4. An Executive Office Chair

I absolutely love my white and rose gold chair that I sit in every day to write my blog articles! It makes me feel more like a boss and super productive. It is a central piece to make my office space look aesthetic. It’s quite the investment, but so worth it in the long run. I’ve had it for a year at the time of publishing this article and it still works well. This is the foundation of my super cute office essentials.

5. High-Quality Noise Cancelling Headphones

Best purchase I bought to significantly drown out all the noise around me is Bose Wireless Noise-Cancelling Rose Gold Headphones. I live in a really loud apartment complex where people love to blast their bass for long periods of time. This helps so much to be able to focus when you are in a noisy office or distracted by others when working from home. I bought these headphones a year ago and the sound quality and feel is still amazing.

I went through several headphones during my college days and always bought the cheap headphones. Those ended up breaking within the first 6 months, so I’m happy the Bose headphones is lasting a pretty long time and the grip of the headphones on my ear is not loose.

6. A Himalayan Salt Lamp

I think everyone should have a Himalayan Salt Lamp in almost every room. This helps me so much when I’m stressed out. It has a very calming effect and I especially use it when I’m working in the evenings. I’ve been using them for several years and they provide so much aesthetic to a room.

7. Writing Desk Pad Protector

I have an older desk and it’s not the most aesthetic, so I use a pink non-slip desk pad to brighten up the look of my desk. I’ve been really getting into having pink everything and this pad protector just makes me so happy. It’s really easy to clean too.

8. Cute Cushion Mouse Pad

I absolute love cats! So when I saw this cat paw mouse pad, I had to buy it! If you use a mouse, most likely you’re rubbing your wrist against the edge of your desk which causes irritation. I like how this mouse pad is soft and squishy so you can comfortable use your mouse while resting your wrist on it.

9. Pusheen Mug

And more cat stuff, because why not? I swear I’m not a crazy cat lady! I don’t even own a cat. But this pusheen mug was something I bought during my Journalism student days. Everyone stole my cup to use in the Journalism office. It was very popular.

10. A Self-Improvement Business Book

I read the Leave Your Mark book right before graduating college and it taught me more about developing your elevator pitch to potential employers, how to get promoted, and build your personal brand. It gave me the confidence to speak up more and seek out challenging opportunities. I highly recommend this book if you are in your last years of college, a recent graduate, or want to jump into the marketing, fashion, or media field.
