6 Hair Oils That Help Make Your Hair Grow Longer

Spread the love

One of the ways you can make your hair grow longer is by using a variety of hair oils.

Do you want your hair to grow super long and reduce split ends? The key is finding your staple hair oils.

Not every hair oil will work for your hair type. You will have to test out different oils to see what your hair likes the most.

Start with a hair moisturizer and detangle your hair before applying hair oil so that it can spread more evenly.

Once you figure out which hair oils do and don’t work for you, you can get better at choosing the right shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, etc.

6 Hair Oils That Help Make Your Hair Grow Longer

Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil

The Rosemary Mint Scalp and Hair Strengthening Oil is my favorite and I always have this on stock. I have low porosity hair curly hair and it works well for me.

You can put it on your scalp or ends. It contains other oils like soybean oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil, etc.

It works well for both low and high porosity hair. If you struggle with dandruff, this will help combat it and soothe your itchy scalp.

Wild Growth Hair Oil

The Wild Growth Hair Oil is for those who want thick and longer hair. In my opinion, it’s heavier than the Rosemary Mint Scalp and Strengthening Oil, so don’t pour too much.

This would work great with a hot oil treatment. It contains a mixture of hair oils like coconut, olive, jojoba rice bran, cocoa butter, pumpkin seed, etc.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil

Jamaican Black Castor Oil is good for strengthening weak hair. The oil is heavy, so mix it with some water.

An alternative is the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Water by As I Am. I use this one and it’s one of my favorite products. It also makes my hair smell nice.

Tea Tree Oil

I find tea tree oil to be very soothing. If you have an itchy scalp or dandruff, this would work to prevent that. It also helps with hair loss.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba Oil is lightweight and good for both high and low porosity hair. It helps to reduce flaky and itchy scalp and prevent clogged pores.

Argan Oil

Argan Oil helps to make your hair shinier and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. It’s great if you want to prevent split ends and have healthy looking hair.

Bonus: Massage Your Scalp

Do a scalp massages with a scalp massager for a few minutes after oiling your hair. You can use it whenever too like when you’re in the shower or watching a tv show.

After you’re done with your hair care routine, put your hair up in a protective style. Protective styling is the most important for growing your hair because you have to prevent your ends from splitting.
